Our Story:

At Tartelette Bakery Café, every pastry tells a story — a story of heritage, craftsmanship, and creativity.
 

Founded by Chef Sanaz Homa a graduate of Le Cordon Bleu Ottawa, Tartelette was born from a dream to create a bakery where classic French techniques and meaningful cultural flavours could come together in beautiful harmony.

With over a decade of experience as a pastry chef, Chef Sanaz has built a space where elegance meets warmth, and where everything — from the flakiest croissant to the tasty tart — is made entirely from scratch.

 

But what truly sets Tartelette apart is the heart behind the creations.

Chef Sanaz created a signature line of fusion desserts called Shirazi, combining saffron, pistachio, and cardamom. This unique blend of flavours reflects creativity and care and has become one of the most loved offerings on our menu. The Shirazi line is featured in our tarts, mini cakes, and cheesecakes, each rich in aroma, colour, and depth.

Tartelette has been proudly featured in over 10 magazines and media outlets, highlighting our dedication to quality and creativity.
